FANTASY INSIGHT:
Polamalu, who has been selected to the past four Pro Bowls, was placed on the physically unable to perform list on the first day of training camp. He had injured his hamstring before arriving and has only worked out lightly on his own.
Polamalu made it through practice at the team’s facility Tuesday “looking pretty good,” coach Mike Tomlin said. Later, neither Polamalu nor Tomlin would commit to his playing Saturday against Minnesota. (AP)

Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Trent Edwards hurt his right leg during practice and walked off the field with a slight limp Tuesday night.
FANTASY INSIGHT:
Coach Dick Jauron said trainers began treating the thigh injury immediately to reduce any potential swelling after Edwards walked off the field with a slight limp. Jauron said it was too early to determine whether Edwards would be able to practice Wednesday or play in Buffalo's preseason game at Indianapolis on Sunday. (AP)

FANTASY INSIGHT:
DeAngelo Hall has ligament damage in his right hand and may have to wear a protective cast for the rest of the preseason.
Hall was injured in training camp before the preseason started and initially was uncertain how badly his hand was hurt. He underwent an MRI and X-rays which showed no break, but the Raiders had the veteran cornerback seek a second opinion. (AP)

The Falcons notified Horn of his release around noon and he quickly cleaned out his locker before leaving the team facility. WR Chris Henry resigned with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
FANTASY INSIGHT:
Desperate for depth at WR, the Bengals have turned to a familiar face.
ESPN.com reported that Chris Henry is en route from Charlotte, N.C., to sign a contract with the Bengals today, Aug. 19. Henry's agent, Marvin Frazier, couldn't be reached for comment. A Bengals spokesman declined to comment.
The Bengals released Henry on April 3 after his fifth arrest in three years.
Henry, who was suspended the first four games of the regular season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, will be eligible to practice and play in the final two preseason games before his four-game suspension begins. The earliest he can return is Oct. 5 at Dallas. (Dayton Daily News)
