INSIGHT: According to Scott Ferrall of Sirius Satellite Radio, Sid Eudy, known to wrestling fans as "Psycho" Sid or Sid Vicious, is reportedly in the final stages of signing a deal that will bring him back in to World Wrestling Entertainment. Sid has been telling friends that he will back in WWE by September, and Ferrall reported earlier today that the deal is nearly complete. While we do not have confirmation of a return date for Sid, expect to see him back with WWE in the very near future.

INSIGHT: F4Wonline.com is reporting that Jeff Hardy was said to have suffered a broken neck on Tuesday night when missing an appearance at Best Buy yesterday in Rockford. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase replaced him at the signing. He also missed last night's house show but no reason was given for his absence. It's being said that on Tuesday there was no indication of Hardy suffering a serious injury in his match with Shelton Benjamin, but he came to TV with fluid in his elbow that wouldn't drain well. He was pulled from the weekend house shows but is still scheduled to face MVP at SummerSlam at this point. We will continue to update you on Hardy's condition as more details become available.

INSIGHT: Sting did not appear at this week's set of Impact tapings due to a contract dispute with TNA, reports ProWrestling.NET. According to multiple sources, Sting is in the midst of negotiating a new contract with the company and will not return to television until the situation is resolved. Sting is working with TNA on a year-to-year basis and his current contract should be expiring at the end of the year. During last year's contract negotiation with Sting, TNA President Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett butted heads over offering a new contract to Sting as Jarrett didn't feel he was worth the type of money that Carter was willing to pay him.

INSIGHT: Umaga suffered a knee injury at a Smackdown live event in Johnson City, Tenn. He was diagnosed with a torn posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). Surgery will not be required and he will be out 4-6 weeks. Umaga will be revaluated by doctors to see if he has made improvements. (WWE.com)

INSIGHT: There is currently a lot of pressure on Shelton Benjamin to step up and take advantage of his current WWE push. Benjamin has some heat with management for being a little too complacent. Benjamin is said to be very comfortable with his mid-card role after already having made more money than he ever though he would. Management feels he could be a strong upper-card player if he aspires to do so, and have been impressed by his matches in recent weeks. (PWTorch)
